Day 1: Wine Tour Tbilisi – Arrive in Tbilisi
Welcome to Tbilisi. Arrive at Tbilisi airport. Later transfer to explore Konka Station, Gabriadze Theater Area, and Sioni Cathedral. Walk through Rike Park and take a cable car to Narikala Fortress. Visit the “Mother of Georgia” statue and Sulphur Bath area. Check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Tbilisi.
Day 2: Wine Tour Tbilisi (Tbilisi) – Mtskheta, Ananuri, Gudauri, Kazbegi
Today after breakfast at the hotel, the day begins with a trip to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia, where you’ll visit UNESCO-listed sites like Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery. Next, you’ll continue your journey to Ananuri, a medieval fortress complex overlooking the Aragvi River, known for its stunning views and historical significance. From Ananuri, you’ll proceed to Gudauri, a popular ski resort town nestled in the Greater Caucasus Mountains.
The final destination of the day is Kazbegi (Stepantsminda), a mountainous region famous for the towering peak of Mount Kazbek and the Gergeti Trinity Church, accessible via a scenic trek or off road vehicle ride. After a day filled with breathtaking landscapes and cultural immersion, you’ll return to Tbilisi for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Wine Tour Tbilisi (Tbilisi) – Bodbe, Sighnaghi, Kvareli
Today’s journey takes you to Bodbe, where you’ll visit the Bodbe Monastery, a significant religious site and pilgrimage destination in Georgia. After Bodbe, you’ll head to Sighnaghi, a charming hilltop town known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, panoramic views of the Alazani Valley, and vibrant art scene.
Continuing on, you’ll visit Kvareli, a region renowned for its wineries and vineyards. Here, you can enjoy wine tastings and explore the cultural heritage of winemaking in Georgia. In the evening, you’ll return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 4: Wine Tour Tbilisi (Departure) – Tbilisi
After breakfast it’s time to check out. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight or back home.
